Terms of service

The rules for using Business Globalizer Bank. Please read them with the person responsible for your business’s finances.

1. These terms

These terms apply to the use of Business Globalizer Bank (the “service”), a software service operated by Business Globalizer (“we”, “us”). By creating an account, or by using the service for a business, you agree to them on behalf of yourself and that business. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What the service is

Business Globalizer Bank is software, not a bank. It lets a business manage USD account details, a custodial stablecoin wallet and payouts to US bank accounts, with team roles and approvals.

USD account details, wallets and transfers are provided by Bridge and are subject to its verification and terms, which your business accepts during onboarding. We do not hold your business’s money, and balances are held by Bridge. Where these terms and Bridge’s terms differ about the financial services themselves, Bridge’s terms apply to those services.

3. Who can use it

  • The service is for businesses operating in the United States that complete and pass business verification. Availability can depend on the state where the business operates.
  • Each person using the service must be at least 18 and authorized to act for the business in the way they use it.
  • We, or Bridge, may decline or end verification at our discretion and are not always able to give a reason.

4. Your account and team

  • Give accurate information and keep it up to date, including the business details provided for verification.
  • Keep your sign-in details secret. Moving money requires a passkey or two-factor authentication; please keep these on devices only you control.
  • Owners decide who joins the team and which role each member has. The business is responsible for what its members do with the permissions they are given.
  • Tell us at once at [email protected] if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.

5. Payments and instructions

  • You are responsible for the payees you add and the payouts you request, including the bank details, amount and payment rail. Check them before you submit or approve a payout.
  • Payouts that need approval are only sent once a second owner or admin approves them. New payees can be paid only after a waiting period. These controls are part of the service and cannot be switched off.
  • Once a payout has been sent, it may not be possible to cancel or reverse it. Wires in particular are final.
  • Arrival times depend on the payment rail, bank cut-off times and checks by Bridge and the banks involved. Any arrival times we give are estimates.
  • We or Bridge may delay, hold or decline a payment where the law requires it or where we reasonably suspect fraud, a security problem or a breach of these terms.

6. Fees

Any fees for the service, and any fees charged by Bridge or the banks involved, are shown to you or agreed with you before they apply.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use the service, or let anyone else use it, to:

  • break any law, including sanctions, anti-money-laundering and consumer protection laws;
  • send or receive money for illegal goods or services, or for anyone you are not allowed to deal with;
  • deceive anyone, including by impersonating another person or business;
  • gain access to accounts, data or systems you are not authorized to use, or test their security without following our disclosure process;
  • interfere with the service, or copy, scrape or reverse engineer it.

8. Emails and notifications

We send emails that are needed to run your account, such as sign-in codes, invitations and security messages. If you turn on push notifications on a device, we also send notifications about payouts, deposits and verification there. You can turn push notifications off at any time in Settings, or in your device’s settings.

9. Other providers

The service relies on other companies, including Bridge for the financial services and providers of hosting, email and push notification delivery. We are not responsible for services that other companies provide under their own terms.

10. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available and secure, but it may sometimes be unavailable, for example during maintenance or when a provider it depends on is unavailable. We may change, add or remove features. If a change significantly reduces what the service does for your business, we will tell you in advance where we reasonably can.

11. Suspension and closing

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to close your business’s account by writing to [email protected]. Closing the accounts and wallet provided by Bridge, and returning any balance, follows Bridge’s terms.

We may suspend or close access to the service if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we reasonably believe it is needed to protect your business, other customers or the service. Where we are allowed to, we will tell you why.

12. Disclaimers

Except where the law does not allow it, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Information in the service, such as estimated arrival times, is provided for convenience.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from the use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change is significant, we will tell account owners by email or in the service before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means accepting the updated terms.

15. Contact

Questions about these terms: [email protected], or use our contact form. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.
